Sites Visited Throughout Your Tour
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by a Maxim Tours representative who will meet and help you at the airport. You will then be transferred to a hotel, where you will spend the night. The next morning after breakfast, the day will start off with a visit to the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mykerinus, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. You will also visit the Egyptian Museum to view an enormous collection of magnificent Pharonic artifacts. Day 2 ends with a return to the hotel for the night.
Day 3 begins with breakfast and checking out of hotel. You will travel in a modern air-conditioned vehicle to Bahariya Oasis. At the oasis, enjoy a walk around the old village to see the palms and fruit trees. Later take a trip the “English House”, the ruin on a hill at sunset and revel in the panoramic view. Afterwards you can visit the village shops. You will spend the night at the Sands Bahariya Hotel.
Day 4 will take you through the White Desert. Before making camp at Black Desert El mazinc, you will visit Banauti tomb to see the golden mummies, Selem house, Alexander temple, Helwa house, and Elmeftela a roman water spring.
White Desert
Day 5, you will visit El Haez (a Bedouin village), Crystal Mountain and Ain El Sero (a magic spring). Day 5 will end with you making camp at Ain El Sero.
Before day 6 ends with you camping at El Khiam, it will be filled with traveling to Ain Khadera. After lunch at Ain Khadera you move on to the Akasia trees at El Khiam valley in the new white desert.
Day 7, as you make your way back in Cairo, you will visit the wind carved stones that have some unusual shapes (such as farm animals). A stop at the old white desert El Farafra Oasis museum will precede continuing on to Cairo. After a good night's rest and breakfast, you will go to the airport to head home.
